Allegrini Palazzo della Torre Veronese IGT V20 750ML

Allegrini’s Palazzo della Torre wine comes from the eponymous cru in the Valpolicella Classico subzone of Fumane, adjacent to the Renaissance-era Villa della Torre, where Allegrini hosts hospitality and events. About 30% of this wine undergoes the appassimento process; in this way it is similar to a Ripasso wine, but distinct in that no re-fermentation takes place. Rather than add “fresh” wine to leftover grape must - as is traditional - Allegrini blends a finished appassimento wine (in effect, an Amarone) with a finished "fresh" wine. A small percentage of Sangioveto - a local clone of Sangiovese - adds lift. The result is a broad, round, and versatile expression of the region and a calling card expression of the estate

J Brut Rosé 750ML

J Brut Rosé opens with layered characteristics of ripe raspberries, rose petals and a savory note of slivered almonds. The palate is elegant and flavorful, with notes of fresh mandarin orange, roasted strawberries and crème fraîche. Lively acidity and steely minerality frame a crisp, lingering finish. Pair this elegant sparkling rosé with traditional Spanish seafood paella, salmon tartare or camembert with candied kumquats and lavender almonds.

Jayson by Pahlmeyer Napa Valley Red V21 750ML

The 2021 Jayson Red Wine is rich and fleshy, with our mountain-grown Merlot at its core. Expressive aromas of crushed black cherry, mushroom, and leather lead to a ripe, focused palate of black cherry and black currant laced with mocha and toasty spice. The mid-palate is mouth-filling and plush with caressing polished tannins that guide the interlaid flavors long through a pure, persistent finish. – Katie Vogt

Orin Swift Mercury Head 750ML 2021

When we decided not to make Mercury Head in 2020, the anticipation for the next release was palpable. In the cellar, we were giddy, ready to assemble a blend worthy of the famed dimes. The 2021 vintage was fortuitous in both yield and quality, giving us a lot of components to make trial blends with. We’re very excited to bring back Mercury Head as 100% Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from both the Stagecoach and Warnock Vineyards on Atlas Peak, the Morisoli Vineyard in Rutherford and the Taplin Vineyard in St. Helena. WINEMAKER’S NOTES An almost-black, opaque garnet core sit s in the glass with slow-moving tears falling down the sides. Immediate aromatic notes of ripe cassis, charred ribeye, sandalwood and freshly cut oak pilfer—breathe deeper for more. The first sip is a complex, layered conundrum of blackberry, black plum, fennel, licorice and dark chocolate. More sips peel back the layers to reveal a rich and balanced wine with a deep cassis core. A sweet linger on the finish closes the wine with softly textured chalky tannins.

Hahn SLH Reserve Pinot Noir V19 750ML

Subtle hints of sage, clove and vanilla add further complexity to the nose of bright cherry and pomegranate. On the palate, layers of fruit continue to evolve with notes of crushed red cherry and bramble berries. Structured palate provides a round and soft mouthfeel with bright acidity, silky tannins and a touch of earthy spice on a long gentle finish. About average winter rainfall provided good soil moisture profile for the start of the growing season. Budbreak started the last week of February, mostly in younger blocks, with the rest popping out mid-March. Canopies were at arm’s length by the end of April with no signs of cap fall until the middle of May. Veraison started slightly later than normally, towards the end of July, which led to a later start of harvest. The weekend of 9/14, we had a heat spike, but after three days the weather returned to normal. The harvest started fast, but overall had a beautiful even pace with cool nights and moderate daytime temperatures throughout the end of season. The quality of the fruit was outstanding, resulting in wine with beautiful color, concentrated flavors, balanced tannins, round mouthfeel and soft acidity. Our 2019 Reserve Pinot Noir reflects the cool climate and well-drained soils of our estate vineyards as well as the unique complexity brought on by multiple clones. Pommard clone from Doctor’s vineyard makes up half of this blend and is one of our favorite clones in the SLH. Smith Vineyard is planted to Calera clone, which is known for its tight small clusters and gives depth to the blend. Finally, fruit from Lone Oak vineyard, coming from our famed Orchestal block planted in 2013, duplicating mass variation of many burgundy vineyards with a multitude of clones, increases the complexity of the blend.

Frei Brothers Sonoma Reserve Merlot V21 750ML

Our food-friendly, velvety-smooth Frei Brothers Sonoma Reserve Dry Creek Valley Merlot offers a full-bodied style with flavorful ripe fruit characteristics and complex structure. Layered notes of dark plum, black cherry and baked blackberry are accented on the robust, well-balanced palate by hints of chocolate, black pepper and spice-roasted nuts. Oak aging adds subtle touches of nutmeg, vanilla and toasted oak on the long, supple finish. Pair this versatile Merlot with roasted chicken or turkey, slow-cooked beef stew or a grilled lamb burger topped with cheese.

La Marca Prosecco Rosé V21 750ML

Our bright and inviting 2021 La Marca Prosecco Rosé blends our classic Prosecco with refined, flavorful Pinot Noir. Delicate aromas of wild strawberry, fresh-picked citrus and honeysuckle rise from the glass, as the palate bubbles with notes of white peach, ripe raspberry and juicy pear. Crisp and refreshing with a flourish of ripe red cherry on the memorable finish. Our La Marca Prosecco Rosé is an ideal choice to add pop of bubbly to picnic brunch, raise an elegant toast or add a splash of sparkling color to soirées big and small. Serve chilled. Viticulture Notes Delicate and aromatic, La Marca Prosecco Rosé D.O.C. is made from some of the highest-quality Glera and Pinot Noir grapes grown by the cooperative. With vineyards throughout Treviso’s coveted hillside vineyards along the Piave River, the region’s moderate climate and well-drained clay and chalk soils yield exceptional grapes. This unique climate produces fresh, vibrant yields that offer high acidity and elegant fruit flavors. Winemaking Notes La Marca Prosecco Rosé is created using the traditional grape used in Prosecco, Glera, blended with just the right amount of Pinot Noir. Once the grapes arrive at the winery, they undergo strict, time-honored winemaking practices. After the Glera was harvested, the grapes were crushed and then immediately pressed in gentle membrane presses. The juice was allowed to cold settle before initial fermentation in upright stainless-steel tanks. The Pinot Noir is fermented on skins, then gently pressed. At the end of their individual fermentations, the Glera and Pinot Noir assemblage is crafted for our La Marca Prosecco Rosé base. An extended secondary fermentation of at least 60 days adds structure and complexity to the blend.

Jayson by Pahlmeyer Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc V22 750ML

Our 2022 Jayson Sauvignon Blanc has fresh flavors and lively acidity counterpoised with a deep, textural richness. Vibrant aromas of orange blossom, Kefir lime leaf, and ripe guava leap from the glass. The palate opens with a focused surge of Key lime, guava, and a hint of river rock minerality. Bright, concentrated citrus and tropical fruit flavors glide through the supple, layered mid-palate, continuing laser sharp through the crisp finish, an echo of citrus meringue ringing on. My intention with Jayson Sauvignon Blanc is to make a wine that is incredibly bright and energetic with a beautiful purity of fruit bolstered by a broad, textural midpalate. In the vineyard, I manage the canopy to encourage early ripening with acidity retention. I’m blending acid-driven valley floor fruit with intense, ripe fruit from our mountain vineyards that’s given longer hang time to fully evolve, a range of ripeness bringing nuance and detail. Lees are stirred just enough to impart a balancing richness while retaining freshness. The finished wine is a complete package of energy and crispness, complexity and depth.

Jayson by Pahlmeyer Napa Valley Chardonnay V21 750ML

Our 2021 Jayson Chardonnay offers a captivating interplay of richness and finesse, with a soulful complexity revealing itself with each sip. The nose is greeted with aromas of orange blossom and honeysuckle, lemon oil, and crushed Marcona almond. Notes of preserved Meyer lemon introduce the bright, finely detailed palate, the integrated oak profile lending a complementing mid-palate richness. Interwoven notes of butterscotch, marzipan, and grilled pineapple slowly emerge and sustain through a long, layered finish.
