Baked Chicken Wings
A crisp and refreshing Pinot Grigio provides the perfect balance for these hot, buttery wings. The bright, floral and citrus notes will cleanse your palate, bite after spicy bite.
Ingredients
• 40 chicken wings
• Cooking spray
• 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 tsp. garlic powder
• 1 cup pepper sauce of choice
• 1 tsp. salt
• 1 tsp. cayenne pepper
• 1 cup butter, melted
Directions
1. In a large bowl, whisk flour, cayenne, garlic powder, and salt to create your dry rub
2. Coat chicken wings with the dry rub
3. Preheat oven to 400°F
4. Whisk butter and pepper sauce in a small bowl
5. Coat 2 large baking sheets with cooking spray
6. Dip the wings in the butter/pepper sauce, then place wings on baking sheets
7. Bake wings for 25 minutes, flip them, then bake for another 20-30 minutes until crispy.
