A polished mouthfeel leads to a lingering finish with a touch of strawberry. Viticulture Notes The 2022 growing season was warmer than normal with average crop yields. Increasing temperatures hastened harvest during August, which produced smaller yields of highly concentrated berries. Winemaking Notes We harvested the grapes for this wine during the cool evening hours. Grapes were then brought to the winery, destemmed, and gently crushed before being fermented at temperatures of between 88°-92°F. This warmer fermentation served to further concentrate flavors and extract intense color from the skins. The wine was aged on oak post fermentation to add complexity and balance.
